Michael R. Hradecky, Principal As a Landscape Architect with over 25 years experience in landscape design, construction and maintenance of residential, commercial and public projects, Michael Hradecky believes in having a sensitive approach to the architecture, site and culture of each project. His background and experience in landscape contracting and horticulture is extensive, allowing him to project accurate cost estimates and develop landscape designs which are truly interdisciplinary. He uses metaphor to capture the essence of the site and the buildings and views landscape as an opportunity to extend the intentions of the architecture into the site. His attention to detail, emphasis on hardscape, artwork, walls, creative grading and lighting extend and amplify the meaning of the architecture. Shaded and colored by the nuances of thoughtfully selected and boldly massed planting, this powerful ordering creates experiential meaning and spatial definition in his landscape work. As President of Alpine Landscape, Inc., Michael Hradecky participates in all stages of project development, from design and drawing through project management, and construction administration all the way through long term landscape maintenance.
